Andrew MackayExecutive Director

Andy MacKay has served as the Executive Director of the Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association (NFADA) since 2015. Prior to joining the Association, he served three governors as Chairman of the Nevada Transportation Authority (NTA) from 2005-2015. Before beginning his state service, Andy served as a partner in several companies, including an advertising and marketing company as well as a commercial printing company.

Andy is a fourth generation native Nevadan and graduate from the University of Nevada. He serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Automotive Trade Association Executives, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Nevada Taxpayers Association, a member of the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, Treasurer of the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement, and the Vice Chairman of the Nevada Board for the Administration of the Subsequent Injury Account for Self-Insured Public & Private Employers.

Andy is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. He is on the Board of Directors of the Great Basin Wildlife Conservancy and for many years he served as a Director for Nevada Bighorns Unlimited. He lives in Sparks, Nevada with his wife, Jennifer, and has two adult children, Ryan and Natalie.
